Who has graced the grand opening of BVLGARI SERPENTIFORM Exhibition at the ArtScience Museum in Marina Bay Sands in Singapore? To be extremely honest, I wish I could be the one.
It is an exhibition providing an in-depth and wide-ranging view of the imagery related to a universal symbol of rebirth, seduction, power and transformation. BVLGARI brand and heritage curator Lucia Boscaini of the maison’s brand heritage department curated the show.
The snake has always been a graphic potential and creative symbolism to the modern and contemporary artists. There’re over 150 pieces of antiquities, vintage costumes from theatre and cinema, contemporary art by prominent artists, including Keith Haring, Niki de Saint Phalle, Alexander Calder, Joan Miro, Marc Chagall, Robert Mapplethorpe, Helmut Newton, etc.
BVLGARI has always been one of my favorite brands. In 2016, BVLGARI Rome Film Art Exhibition Cinecittà moved to Shanghai, more than 30 pieces of Bvlgari’s antique collection of fine jewelry and watches had been stunningly presented.
Shanghai’s freedom, romance, and modernity, coincidentally respected to the spirit of the fine craftsmanship of Bvlgari, which inherited the Italian Sweet Life era of passion and freedom, the love of jewelry into every piece of prestige in BVLGARI’s fantasy .
I have been told that BVLGARI SERPENTIFORM Exhibition will be shown in Tokyo in November this year, therefore I am certainly curious about the coming date for the show in Shanghai afterward.
